Kansas City's highest scoring game was a 10 - 0 win in Game 6 but they started off the series with a big win in Game 2 and a huge 5 run 6th inning. The inning started with a Lorenzo Cain single and a walk to Eric Hosmer. Billy Butler singled to score Cain and advance Hosmer. After Alex Gordon flied out, a wild pitch advanced Hosmer and Terrance Gore, who had come in to run for Butler. Salvador Perez then doubled to score Hosmer and Gore, which brought Omar Infante to the plate. Infante capped the inning with a 2 run home run.
