1999 Regular Season
Unhappy Valley
Minnesota vs Penn St
24 - 23
6 November, 1999
Penn State was looking to continue their perfect season and Minnesota was down to their last chance on a 4th and 16. Quarterback Billy Cockerham heaved a prayer and the ball was tipped and ended up in Minnesota's Arland Bruce's hands at the 13 yard line. Minnesota would kick a game winning field goal as time expired to put an end to Penn State's perfect season.
