Down by four, Doug Flutie and Boston College had six seconds to go 48 yards and get in the endzone. The Miami defense underestimated Flutie's arm and didn't put any defenders in the endzone. Flutie then dropped back and heaved the ball 63 yards into the waiting arms of Gerard Phelan and the rest is history.
